Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders with experience in stainless steel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, fabrication, and both MIG and TIG welding techniques. Initially, the role will be based in our shop, focusing on various welding and fabrication tasks. After a few months, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in the field, with travel time compensated.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using stainless steel.
• Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to complete projects.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Transition to fieldwork after demonstrating proficiency in shop tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, specifically with stainless steel.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork after initial shop-based period.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with blueprint reading, structure, and grinding.
• Proficiency in horizontal and vertical welding positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
