West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Hospitalists for West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc., based at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.
WVU Medicine, West Virginia University's affiliated health system, is the state's largest private employer and a leader in patient safety and quality. It includes eleven member hospitals, five managed hospitals, and the flagship J.W Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, a 700+ bed academic medical center offering tertiary and quaternary care. Wheeling Hospital provides premium healthcare to residents of Wheeling, WV, Northern Panhandle of WV, and Eastern Ohio. It offers services including a Surgical Center, Center for Pediatrics, Center for Women's Services, Emergency/Level 2 Trauma Center, comprehensive cancer center, full-service cardiac catheterization lab, and Stroke Care. Founded in 1850, it is the oldest hospital in West Virginia.
