Our open Clinical Educator role would see you delivering training and education to healthcare professionals on a targeted temperature management device primarily used in Critical Care units. Your primary focus will be in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities, and this position is a great opportunity to make an impact in healthcare and improve patient outcomes through education for healthcare professionals.
- Per-diem position requiring travel to different healthcare facilities in Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas, with flexibility to work with your current schedule
- 2-3 assignments per month, ranging 1-3 days total per assignment. Travel locally and regionally to support customer needs
- Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments

Responsibilities:
- Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations
- Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
- Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device
- Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments
- Administrative tasks as required, such as submitting time, expenses, and booking travel arrangements (if needed), and sharing availability to facilitate scheduling
Job Requirements - Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required
- ICU experience as an RN of 2-3+ years required, ER/IMCU experience will be considered if candidates are comfortable with targeted temperature management devices used for more complex critical care applications
- Experience using targeted temperature management devices in critical care settings required
Job Requirements - Additional:
- Must be comfortable with basic software programs
- Ability to travel locally and regionally, must live within 50 miles of Sacramento, CA. The majority of assignments will be local to Sacramento, with some potential for occasional regional assignments within driving distance
- Ability to work in a group setting and possess strong professional acumen
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending or kneeling may be required
- Must be comfortable presenting to groups
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required
Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated

The starting pay range for this Tier 1 per diem role is $36.00 - $43.70. The actual pay will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies.
