This hire will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Position Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll system.
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings (federal, state, and local).
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate payroll reports and maintain accurate records.
• Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation.
• Assist with audits related to payroll.
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.

To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel.
