As a Patient Transporter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within our hospital. Your dedication to providing exceptional patient care will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
General Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport patients within the hospital facility
- Assist patients in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers
- Follow proper lifting and transferring techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed
