Job Description A-Line Staffing is now hiring Patient Escorts in Houston, TX. This position is with a top medical institution and offers career growth potential. Patient Escort Compensation The pay for this position is $16.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Patient Escort Highlights This is a part-time contract position with potential for long-term placement based on attendance and performance Shift options include:

6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

11:45 AM - 7:00 PM

Rotating weekends and some holidays are required Location: Houston, TX Parking is at the contractor's expense Patient Escort Responsibilities Escort hospital and ambulatory patients via wheelchair or stretcher Sanitize equipment before and after patient use following institutional protocols Accurately complete disinfection and transport logs Provide warm, compassionate, and professional service Navigate the medical campus efficiently and follow directions precisely Push wheelchairs or stretchers carrying patients up to 250 lbs. Patient Escort Requirements High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of patient care or customer service experience Must be able to push at least 200 lbs. Must follow strict dress code and hygiene requirements (no artificial nails/lashes, specific uniform standards) Consistent punctuality and attendance are mandatory for the first 90 days Patient Escort Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in a high-paced, physically demanding environment Compassionate demeanor, especially when assisting patients undergoing intensive treatments Please Note: This is a labor-intensive position with significant physical demands. Escorts are on their feet the entire shift and interact directly with patients at various stages of care.
