Join our team as a night shift, full-time, Intermediate Care - Stepdown (IMC) Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Amarillo, TX.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a PCT:

• Works in an entry-level position providing basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses.
• Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.

Job Requirements:

• Must have completed some high school education
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Completion of High School PCT competencies
• Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Demonstrated competency in Phlebotomy
