Position Description:

Trinity Valley School seeks Part-time Dishwasher to join the TVS Dining Hall for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. Monday through Friday 8am to 2pm. Weekends and Holidays off. Potentially 7am to 1:00 if available to work those hours. $13/hr. Each dishwasher's primary objective is to provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff. Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Maintain highest professional sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage dish return at specified times at the end of each service period
• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
• Keep dish room clean and organized
• Maintain adequate levels of tableware and napkins for daily service; clean and organize counters; keep counters wiped down
• Maintain appropriate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
• Unload and restock grocery items in pantry, walk-in, or freezer
• Ability to do and flexibility to perform jobs as assigned by your superiors

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

• Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, co-workers, faculty, staff, students, to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach
• Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner which is accurate, complete and of high quality
• Ability to come to work regularly and on time, to follow directions, to take criticism, to get along with co-workers, supervisors, faculty, staff, students and parents with respect and courtesy and to refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen personnel, faculty, staff and students
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to do repetitive work in a standing position
• Maintain up to date food handlers certification.
• Flexibility with job duties, ability to multi-task and ability to work un-supervised
• Bilingual preferred.
• Practice and maintain proper techniques including knife skills.

• Exemplify personal and professional integrity.
