Experience & Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient appointments and procedures
• Take digital scans, x-rays, and impressions as directed
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after appointments
• Provide patient and parent education on appliance care, oral hygiene, and treatment progress
• Keep clinical areas clean, stocked, and organized according to infection control standards
• Support scheduling and patient flow as needed when required by the practice
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred (but eager, trainable candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-oriented work style
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment
• Radiology/X-ray certification and CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain (depending on state requirements)
