Job Details Locum Tenens Ophthalmology Opportunity - Ongoing Coverage Needed in 2025
We are actively seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage at a fast-paced, high-volume clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, well-established practice while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Position Highlights:
Flexible Scheduling - Seeking a provider available for 1-2 weeks per month, with ongoing shifts throughout 2025.
Clinic + Call Coverage - Provider will work in the clinic during the day and take call at night.
High-Volume Practice - This is a busy clinic with a fast-paced work environment, requiring efficiency and adaptability.
Advanced Communication Tools - The facility uses Voalte, a secure internal paging system, for call coordination.
Must Have Recent Surgical Experience - Candidates must be comfortable performing ophthalmic procedures as part of their coverage.
Schedule & Responsibilities:
Shifts Run Friday 7:00 AM - The Following Friday 7:00 AM.
Daytime Clinic Hours with Night Call Coverage.
Perform surgical and non-surgical ophthalmology procedures as needed.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of ophthalmic professionals.
Ideal Candidate:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist with active state licensure or ability to obtain one.
Must have recent hands-on surgical experience.
Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic setting.
Availability for 1-2 weeks per month with an interest in ongoing coverage.
