Overview

TJX Companies TJ Maxx family. This opportunity supports delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Support and contribute to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately process customer purchases/returns and count change back according to operating procedures
• Promote credit and loyalty programs
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor following procedures and standards
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and store-wide upkeep
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of $15.49 to $15.99 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
