Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and highly mechanical Custom Truck Build Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing hydraulic systems, welding on steel and aluminum, and reading electrical schematics to build and repair custom trucks designed for train track operations. This role requires a strong ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise and high-quality custom builds and assemblies.

Work EnvironmentWork in a garage-type setting similar to a local mechanic shop but with large semi-tractors and Ford F-550s. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for occasional overtime. Ramp season occurs in Q2, requiring additional hours.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New Century, Kansas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
