Location/Division Specific Information

This position is within the divisional marketing team within the Biosciences Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The individual should be located out of Grand Island, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Wilmington, DE, or Rockford, IL.

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our BID Marketing Operations team. The individual will be responsible for managing processes, technology, and data that support marketing activities. This role involves coordinating marketing automation systems, handling marketing databases, and analyzing marketing and sales data to drive operational efficiency and success of New Product Introductions.

A Day in the Life:
  • Act as an administrator of technology within the BID Marketing organization. This involves being responsible for New Product Introduction automation tools, troubleshooting issues, and training users.
  • Maintain data reporting to help drive data-driven Commercial recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as program management, and global and regional marketing to ensure efforts are aligned with business objectives.

Keys to Success

Education
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably technical or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in lieu of degree accepted

Experience
  • Experience managing reporting in BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Domo)
  • Familiarity with marketing content platforms (Seismic, Sales Hub, HighSpot) as well as Learning management Platforms (Brainshark, Docebo)
  • Knowledge of various technologies to support marketing and communications functions, such as PPM PRO and project management software.
  • Experience with New Product Development (NPI) process

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $75,800.00-$113,675.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
