Through the implementation of efficient operational (enhanced SIOP, lean manufacturing, inventory planning, optimization of the distribution network, redesign and value engineering of compounds and products, improved process control, activity based costing, etc.) and intelligent commercial (dynamic pricing and material margin management, new product development, refined channel management, new account conquests, etc.) strategies, the company is targeting improving performance to over 12% EBITDA margins on substantially higher revenue over time. Position Summary:

As a Marketing Specialist at The Carlstar Group, you will be an essential member of our dynamic marketing team, responsible for executing innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. Your creative flair and strategic mindset will play a crucial role in promoting our products to our target audience and fostering strong customer relationships. In this position you will provide additional support to the Marketing, Sales, and Product Managers through the regional execution of marketing campaigns, as well as, generate and manage content in alignment with our business strategy.

This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with our business objectives. Utilize your creative skills to develop compelling content and visuals to attract our target audience that drive business goals.
  • Utilize your exceptional writing and storytelling skills to craft engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, website, email, flyers, brochures, and more. Ensure that the messaging reflects our brand identity and effectively communicates our value proposition.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, sales materials, and other promotional content. Flex your graphic design skills to create visuals that resonate with our target audience.
  • Manage and optimize our digital marketing efforts, including social media marketing, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and email marketing campaigns. Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to improve campaign effectiveness continually.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, target audience preferences, and customer needs. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing materials and channels. By adhering to brand guidelines, you will reinforce brand recognition and maintain a strong brand image in the market.
  • Manage our social media presence, monitor social media trends, interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and proactively engage with our audience. Your efforts will foster a sense of community and help build a loyal customer base.
  • Plan and coordinate our participation in industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities. Manage event logistics, including booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-ups. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure successful event execution and enhanced brand visibility.
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns. Your ability to interpret data will prepare reports to provide valuable insights for continuous improvement and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing
  • Extraordinary, highly creative writing skills, with an innate attention to detail
  • Creative mindset with a flair for proposing innovative marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant software.
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics) and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Exceptional project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
