We design, manufacture, and install vehicle equipment for every kind of fleet.
Holman’s Manufacturing and Distribution division has a great opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Colorado Springs.
What will you be doing?
• Making sure deliveries between different company locations and external partners run smoothly.
• Keeping track of incoming and outgoing shipments and managing parking space as needed.
• Informing management about delays and patterns observed with carriers.
• Helping with the process of handling damage or loss of freight/vehicles until completion.
• Regularly checking ready-to-ship units and working with the right people to ensure timely delivery.
• Handling facility transit plates and licenses.
• Assigning and overseeing the movement of company vehicles within the organization.
• Working with outside vendors, negotiating prices and turnaround times to meet customer needs.
• Reviewing schedules in advance to plan delivery timelines, minimizing costs and wait times for customer vehicles.
• Acting as a local dispatcher for the porter team and assigning daily tasks.
• Checking and ensuring the accuracy of the inventory for all vehicles on site.
What are we seeking?
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, or warehouse operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to report issues or delays to internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to provide feedback to employees and suggestions to company leadership.
• A college degree is a plus.
• Experience in the logistics/vehicle delivery process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Strong computer skills, including a good understanding of Excel.
