Seeking a Junior network engineer

who is seeking to grow in a transparent infrastructure team allowing for growth while expecting adherance to practice, policy and procedure.

Candidate would have 1-3 years’ experience coming network support responsibilities and ideally looking for growth to new areas.

Responsibilities

Supporting and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure under the guidance of senior network administrators or network engineers.

Monitor network performance, availability, and security.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating firmware, applying patches, and ensuring proper configuration of network devices

Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, latency problems, and other network-related problems.

Work with end-users to diagnose and resolve network-related problems in a timely manner.

Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of network hardware and software components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points

Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and access control

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
