Job Description

The Hatcher Group is seeking an accomplished Junior Digital Data Analyst to support our growing digital analytics operations. You will be a pivotal player in navigating and aiding both our internal and external digital measurement needs in alignment with both strategic and client objectives. With a keen understanding of digital analytics best practices, you will be instrumental in realizing our clients' strategic objectives while setting unparalleled standards for operational excellence.

In this position, you will report directly to the Associate Director, Data and Analytics. Your role will be central to offering data-driven insights, formulating analytics strategy, and supporting campaign reporting for our clients, which include nonprofit organizations, foundations, and government agencies.

We anticipate our Junior Digital Data Analyst will be a proactive, innovative, and data-driven expert in digital analytics. Your role will entail measuring the success of digital tactics and campaigns, utilizing data analysis, alongside active participation in supporting the development of digital dashboards. Having 4+ years of data and analytics experience, preferably in a digital environment, is essential. Knowledge of pixel placement and tracking is highly preferred.

In joining our expanding digital team, you will offer support in tracking digital campaigns down to the tactic level, social listening, sentiment analysis, and related tasks. We are seeking a candidate who is intrinsically curious, digitally proficient, and embraces learning and experimentation with new technology, strategies, and tactics.

At Hatcher, we are proud to maintain a 'flexible first' work culture. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Bethesda office for regular in-person collaboration. The target salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and interpreting digital data for actionable insights.
  • Strategizing, planning, and executing SEO and social listening campaigns.
  • Using pixel placement and tracking to assess digital performance.
  • Assisting in the design, execution, and maintenance of digital dashboards.
  • Collaboratively managing the data review processes for client projects.
  • Demonstrating a profound understanding of our client's digital presence.
  • Contributing positively to our team’s ethos rooted in the firm’s core values.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant data and analytics experience, preferably in a digital setting.
  • Profound knowledge of digital analytics best practices.
  • Knowledge of pixel placement and tracking (preferred).
  • Proficiency in program management software, notably Monday.com.
  • Strong work ethic, accompanied by the capability to manage numerous deadlines.
  • Experience with SEO and SEMRUSH.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with social listening tools, such as TalkWalker, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite (particularly Excel or Sheets).
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.
