Move forward with Volt! Volt is hiring for
Janitor for a company located in Fullerton, CA.
As a
Janitor you will:
- Clean, sanitize and maintain order. Key duties include emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms and surfaces. Janitor also manages cleaning supplies, performs minor repairs, report major maintenance needs, and ensure building safety.
- Clean exterior of building including emptying trash cans, power washing and trash pick up.
- Operate Tennant foor scrubbing machine
- Assist warehouse with general labor in in downtime or when needed
- Assist maintenance technician with duties..

The ideal candidate will have
: - High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment and accuracy
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
- Ability to work as a team member-works as a co-worker
- Communicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary.
Physical demands and abilities - Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
- Having a good sense of balance
- Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to work in a cold environment were temps can range from 40 deg. F to -20 deg. F.
- Able to read and understand entry level English and Math
- Withstand standing for long periods of time
- Constant lifting
- Possible long hours, up to 12 hours
- Possible weekend shift must to be assigned as needed
- Exposed to hot and cold environments
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm
Pay Rate : $19 per hour
