ERP Manager

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an experienced and strategic ERP Manager to lead the implementation, optimization, and management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role is responsible for aligning ERP functionality with business needs, overseeing daily system operations, managing upgrades, and driving process improvements across departments.

Team Management

• Manage ERP team with their daily assignment and tasks provide them coaching and mentoring as well as manage the performance of the team.
• Engage in daily stand ups and other communications within team.

ERP System Leadership

• Manage the day-to-day operation, support, and maintenance of the ERP system.
• Lead the implementation of new ERP modules and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and the ERP system.

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Evaluate and streamline existing business processes to maximize ERP system capabilities.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend system-driven solutions to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Document business requirements, processes, and system configurations.
• Partner with departments including finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, and IT to ensure ERP solutions meet their needs.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure effective system adoption and usage across teams.
• Facilitate change management and user support through updates and transitions.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee all phases of ERP-related projects from planning to post-launch support.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with IT and security standards in all ERP-related activities.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain ERP dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders.
• Provide strategic insights based on system analytics and data trends.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, project management skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of ERP management or administration experience (Epicor P21, or similar)
• Proven experience leading ERP implementations and system upgrades
• Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
