Responsibilities:
* Works in a collaborative team environment, leading the development of the projects building program and interior design, including furnishings, color and material palettes, and preparing project documentation appropriate to each phase
* Prepares presentation materials, including renderings, to communicate design ideas and guide our clients through the design process, bringing well-considered options to them for review and timely decision-making
* Researches and assesses manufacturers materials and systems
* Understands the technical implications of design decisions and contributes to the development and documentation of a practical, buildable design that is coordinated with architecture and engineering systems
* Represents the firm well in project meetings and industry events and continues to build a professional network of clients, consultants, and peers
* Leads and mentors less-experienced staff
* Assists in business development and marketing efforts
Skills and Credentials:
* 8-12 years of experience
* Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented
* Well-organized and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong communication and presentation skills and a creative design aptitude
* Very proficient in Revit Architecture with experience in both preliminary design and construction drawings documentation
* Proficient in 3-D modeling and rendering in 3-D modeling software
* Professional degree in interior design from an accredited program
* LEED or WELL Building Design accreditation, or on the path to accreditation, preferred
* Interior Design licensure preferred or on the path to licensure within one year.
