About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim CEO to oversee the management of its office and staff, support the strategic plan set by the Board of Directors, and maintain relationships with members, volunteers, and external constituencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including financial management, staff leadership, and ensuring the Society's mission is advanced. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented approach, and the ability to quickly assume a broad set of responsibilities. The Interim CEO will also be tasked with assessing the current operational and administrative structure and providing guidance for potential changes. Applicants for the Interim CEO position at the company should have an undergraduate degree and at least 10 years' work experience, with a focus on executive management and association management. Essential qualifications include proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. The role demands a candidate who is self-directed, can multitask, and is adept at financial management. Experience in strategic planning, program implementation, and a strong understanding of the importance of ethics, respect, and inclusion in a professional setting are also key attributes. The Interim CEO will be expected to have a hands-on approach to their work, be adept at problem-solving, and have a track record of successful consensus building.
