About the Role

Maleda Tech is seeking an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to help develop engaging, impactful learning experiences for a global customer support organization. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high-quality learning solutions that improve employee performance, support onboarding, and enable professional growth.

As part of a collaborative operational excellence team, you'll partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to transform complex topics into clear, interactive learning programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who blends design creativity with technical proficiency and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital learning, virtual instructor-led training (vILT) , microlearning, videos, and supporting materials using established instructional design methodologies.

  • Conduct needs assessments and audience analyses to identify learning objectives and recommend delivery strategies.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal partners to collect content, review technical information, and ensure instructional clarity.

  • Create and maintain engaging courses using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 , and other eLearning tools.

  • Build knowledge assessments and activities that support experiential learning and measure job-readiness.

  • Update and refine existing learning content using feedback, analytics, and evolving business requirements.

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, and communications teams to align learning initiatives with business goals.

  • Track project progress and deliverables using tools like Asana or similar platforms.

  • Stay current on emerging instructional technologies and trends to continuously improve design quality and learner engagement.

  • Support the team's growth by sharing best practices and promoting knowledge of modern learning design principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology , or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience designing and developing training materials for adult learners.

  • Proficiency with Articulate Storyline , Rise 360 , LMS platforms , and multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace .

  • Strong grasp of adult learning theory , instructional design methodologies , and digital learning technologies .

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills , with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and iterate based on feedback.

  • Portfolio demonstrating past instructional design work and multimedia projects.

  • A continuous learner with a passion for innovation in education and training.
