Service Champions has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician Trainee at our Brea location. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills, and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

Responsibilities:

After Training you will be able to:

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Present products and services to customer
• provide 5-star level of service to our clients
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, coils, condenser units, etc.

• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and promote a positive company image
• Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license with minimal DMV infractions
• Proficiency with mobile devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones, and/or other devices as required)

Work Conditions:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
• Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
