Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of professional painting processes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to work effectively on various projects, including renovations and restorations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Execute plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks as part of the painting process.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in fixture installation and other maintenance person tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential and commercial painting; industrial painting experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, color theory, and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting and construction tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and renovation plans effectively.
• Experience with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, and remodeling is desirable.
• Previous construction site experience is preferred; knowledge of maintenance practices is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
