Rome Health is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Operations Manager . The HIM Operations Manager will be responsible for

• Supervising HIM clerks and transcriptionists.
• Overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the HIM department, assisting the HIM Director, Coding and ROI Managers as necessary.
• Will exhibits strong leadership skills and assures team members are successful in their duties.
• Will work closely with leadership from other departments including physicians and nursing staff.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE:

• Associates degree required. Bachelors or masters degree preferred.
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
• Ability to type and navigate multiple computer software systems required.
• Ability to use a scanner, fax machine, or copier required.
