We are looking for a skilled GoLang Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will work on developing high-quality software, debugging complex issues, and collaborating on technical designs to deliver optimized solutions. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated and have strong programming expertise, particularly in GoLang and Linux environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new functional features using GoLang programming.
Debug and resolve software defects to ensure seamless functionality.
Collaborate in solution design sessions to evaluate options and recommend effective approaches.
Write and maintain high-quality code, adhering to best practices and refactoring when necessary.
Document solutions and technical processes to support ongoing development and maintenance.
Break down business requirements into smaller technical tasks for efficient implementation.
Assess effort and timelines required to complete development tasks accurately.
Utilize container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage applications.
Apply advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems to manage environments and implement solutions.
Integrate authentication and access mechanisms, including Single Sign-On and Active Directory structures.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience with GoLang programming.
Strong proficiency in Linux environments, with at least 6 years of programming experience on Linux OS.
Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with authentication protocols and frameworks, including Single Sign-On and Active Directory.
Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C.
Experience with database technologies, including NoSQL solutions.
Ability to reverse-engineer code to analyze and understand existing systems.
