Mr. Splash is looking for a General Manager!

As the top position in the stores chain of command, the General Manager is fully responsible for the success of their home site. The store’s performance, appearance, and overall operations are a direct reflection of the General Manager. The success of a stores team depends on the General Managers ability to lead, support, and maintain a safe, fun work environment. The General Managers who truly excel are those who take full ownership of their store and take pride in its performance and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong leadership with a focus on ownership and accountability.
  • Proven ability to manage store operations: Hiring, Employee Relations, Office Administration, Scheduling, Inventory Ordering and Management, and Customer Relations.
  • A strong knowledge of all store operations.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to set and achieve Sales Goals, motivating the team to succeed.
  • Superb communication skills, able to clearly and effectively communicate with team and Mr. Splash Leadership Team
  • Step into MSA role to ensure stores performance.
  • Report numbers to their direct report.
  • Proactively staff based on seasonal trends and periods.
  • Coordinate scheduling to ensure optimal coverage at all times.
  • Conduct required training on procedures to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver real time coaching to staff members to drive improvement and optimize results.
  • A Hands-on manager who leads by example, working alongside the team in all aspects of the store’s operations.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout their store.
  • Meet and or exceed monthly sales goals by converting existing customers into our unlimited wash club program. 
  • Hold teams accountable to dress and grooming standards to present a professional standard for our guests.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and membership data.
  • Cash and security management. Submit commission reports at the end of each pay period to HR to ensure inclusion in Payroll.
  • Creating work schedules for all staff during operational hours and ensuring all shifts are covered for operational hours.
  • Payroll data entries, ensure staff punches match published schedules.
  • Document and send weekly chemical reports/inventory.
  • Connect with customers after vehicle incidents have occurred. Reviewing camera footage and meeting with customers, explaining the wash process and how it is designed not to damage.
  • Manage and ensure all daily and weekly checklists are completed to standards.
  • Provide coaching to team members based on KPI’s to improve performance and accountability.
  • Monitor and track site performance based on KPI’s.

Work Conditions:

  • General Managers need to be physically fit and are expected to work in all types of weather. Work shifts are typically 8-10 hours long and may include evenings and weekends. Staff may be required to wear their own clothes (excluding what is required by Mr. Splash Car Wash) that are appropriate for the working conditions.

Abilities:

  • Must be able to work 40-45 hours per week.
  • Must remain flexible; available to work any shift, to ensure the staffing needs are met, maintaining great customer service no matter the volume.
  • Must be able to implement and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure, to avoid delays and shutdowns for customers.
  • Must be able to physically perform the duties and responsibilities for all car wash operations. To include standing for extended periods of time, climbing ladders, cleaning/removing debris from tunnel trench and moving chemical barrels.
  • Must maintain a proactive safety awareness, maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, and operate with integrity and honesty as a member of the Mr. Splash team.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical knowledge highly recommended
  • Associate degree or higher (preferred but not required) 
  • Experience in customer care (minimum 5 years)
  • Managerial knowledge and experience are required (minimum 3 years)
