At Amazon Merch on Demand, we print t-shirts and other products on demand on behalf of thousands of entrepreneurial designers who upload designs to our site. Since launching in 2015, we’ve scaled our business across North America, Europe, and Japan and we’re just getting started. We empower Content Creators of all sizes, from amateur designers to large brands, to scale their businesses globally without the constraints of managing inventory or a supply chain.
The Amazon Merch on Demand team is looking for an experienced Program Manager to manage fraud and abuse. This person will be a strategic team member responsible for identifying new types of bad actor risk, defining policies and procedures to detect and eliminate high risk accounts, and designing systems to automate these steps. An enthusiasm for simplifying processes and using data in decision-making and prioritization are key. Candidates must demonstrate strong judgment skills and have experience managing complex projects. This individual excels at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive leaders, understands the importance of effective communication, and can consistently deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Manages the direction, coordination, and implementation of risk reduction automation plans.
- Actively seeks to understand Amazon core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday operational practices.
- Combines a deep cross-functional business understanding with automation techniques.
- Effectively applies best practices to all strategic decisions.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of technical systems in a complex automated content processing environment.
- Implements change or develops new processes as necessary to provide the ability to better serve Content Creators, reduce content risk, and improve the customer experience.
- Continually measures and evaluates all work processes.
- Demonstrates clear written and oral communication and grace under pressure in all communications.
- Builds positive productive relationships with cross-functional and global stakeholders and partners.
- Drives cross functional initiatives to ensure compliance with business policies.
A day in the life
The ideal candidate will have a track record for developing a vision, defining a strategy and building programs and features from the ground up. In this role, the candidate must be able to influence across multiple organizations, be an exceptionally strong communicator and analytical thinker, and have a history of delivering results. This person will have experience delivering customer-facing experiences that reach millions of users, worldwide. They will have solved complicated problems with elegant, simple solutions.

Since launching in 2015, we have scaled our business to the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Japan, across several types of apparel and retail products — and we’re just getting started. We empower content creators of all sizes, from amateur designers to large brands, to scale their merchandise sales globally without the constraints of managing inventory or a supply chain.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA
REQUISITOS BÁSICOS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
REQUISITOS DESEADOS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
