The Writing Revolution (TWR) trains and supports educators and school leaders in implementing the Hochman Method, a set of evidence-based strategies for teaching expository writing. The methodology rests on explicit, carefully sequenced instruction, building from sentences to compositions, and can be used across all grades and subject areas.

Summary
The Director of Finance , a regular, full time, exempt position, under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, leads strategic and manages operational aspects of the organization’s finances and effectively communicates the results, issues and opportunities to all stakeholders. The Director ensures compliance and sound internal controls while fostering a culture of support and collaboration with finance and across departments. The Director participates in the short- and long-term financial planning of the organization as well as the strategic planning process and quality improvement process.
This is a hybrid role that requires Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office.

Salary Range
$125,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience.
