Design Associate High Commission! Department: Sales/Marketing Description: Looking for a FCI Design Associate for the North Dallas Area.
This is an in person face to face in home sales position, and you will engage customers within their homes to offer our flooring services. Experience: Must have past sales experience with a history of $500,000- 1,000,000 sales in a year (proven experience)
Must have 1-2 years of in home sales experience
Must have 1-2 years of flooring sales experience
Responsibilities: As a Sales Associate with our dynamic team, you will be responsible for driving sales and generating revenue through various channels. Your primary duties will include:
The FCI Design associate is responsible to sell flooring to customers and deliver on the sale in seeing installation through to completion and final payment. DA must focus on the customer and the customer experience by assisting the customer in making creative choices that will work best together to fulfill the vision they have for their home or office. - Contact all new leads within 12 hours of call.
- Cold Calling customers to get them excited about their upcoming appointments by verifying appointments and their flooring needs.
- Initiate outbound calls to potential clients with the aim of promoting our products/services.
- Show up professionally and on time to all appointments.
- Use all steps of the Inspired sale process in each estimate.
- Work to close every job as soon as possible.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits to potential customers.
- Use resources to provide customers with the best flooring for their needs.
- Complete accurate paperwork and administrative items to assist the production manager in successful completion of the job.
- Visit each project once (minimum) during installation.
- Maintain ongoing communication with leads to nurture relationships and guide them through the sales funnel.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Sign off and complete paperwork with customers and present gifts.
- Keep vehicles clean and organized.
- Keep mobile showroom and office organized and presentable.
- Continue to look for self generated leads.
- Follow up with customers after their appointments regarding their last appointment, and provide 10 day follow up after installation is complete with the customer.
- Market Floor Coverings International on a constant basis.
- Be available for all Home Shows.
- Build and design booths for shows based on show needs.
- Be available to attend training seminars at owners discretion.
- Attend at least one form of Design training per year.
- Continue to educate self on new flooring and flooring design.
- Attend weekly meeting with Owner at scheduled time
- Submit MIS form weekly via email.
- Work weekly and monthly to meet yearly sales goals.
- Please allow 2 weeks notice to any vacation or time off.
- Maintain a 48%-50%+ margin on all jobs, if other margin is necessary it must be
- discussed with Jane/Jonah
- Make decisions and act in accordance with FCIs core values and mission.
- Be available to work showroom hours to serve our customer
- Maintain working cell phone and computer access.
- Annual FCI company convention in Mexico (determined by owner and local structure goals: travel expenses covered)

Pay : Base salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Other items: - Commissions will be paid upon completion of job cost and approval.
- Design Associate will represent FCI at all times, and promote the business. This includes using branded material (cards, brochures, websites, etc.)
