Job Description

Join our team as a Delivery Experience Agent, where you will play a vital role in delivering, installing, repairing, and hauling away household appliances, televisions, and various tech products. This position involves assessing the best methods for getting major appliances into homes, taking measurements, and ensuring the path is properly protected.

In this dynamic role, you will decide if any doors need to be removed or if any fixtures should be relocated for optimal delivery and installation. Your expertise will be key in enhancing customer satisfaction throughout the entire process.

• Attend to delivery duties, including installation, networking, and repair of home theater equipment and appliances.
• Deliver outstanding client experiences by advising on product placement and additional services.
• Collaborate with team members to manage vehicle maintenance and inventory efficiently.
• Handle paperwork and payment processes, provide feedback to store teams, and conduct in-store repairs as necessary.
• Mentor and provide training to new drivers to uphold service standards.
• Take the lead on jobs that require two-person teamwork or independently manage tasks as needed.

• Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must maintain a driving record that aligns with Best Buy's safety standards (e.g., minimal violations or accidents).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights up to 350 pounds alone and up to 700 pounds as part of a team using appropriate equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary local or state licenses within 90 days of hiring.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, written and verbal communication, and client relations skills.
• Previous experience in an in-home installation setting.
• Familiarity with technology products and eagerness to learn more.
