Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will support our Enterprise with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for process optimization as well as operational enhancements to drive revenue growth, expense reduction and/or increase cash flow. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, & building and implementing models and dashboards. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of non-technical stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

This role will be a Hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize data analysis and data mining tools to identify business opportunities (toppling growth, cost reduction, cash flow enhancements) and process improvements.
• Build out dashboards for the Supply Chain team to measure KPI’s vs history and targets.
• Analyze data, pull out key insights, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Partner with key stakeholders on potential solutions.
• Develop data models and algorithms to apply to data sets, to help in decision making when analyzing opportunities and the potential changes.
• Design and implement processes for items requiring ongoing monitoring as well as those to measure success of changes implemented.
• This individual will be one of the go-to contacts for sourcing data from various systems, understanding the data elements and KPI definitions, and developing new analyses and dashboards

Qualifications

• Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Data integrity focused, ensuring proper controls are in place and outputs are complete and accurate.
• Develops high quality end products with well-designed visual appeal
• Adept at identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• This is an entry-level position for someone with 2 years or less experience. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics with the following technical capabilities:
• Coding knowledge and mastery in one or more languages (eg. SQL, Python, R, SAS, C/C++, Java, etc).
• Experience with querying databases. SQL Server and/or Teradata is preferred. Cognos and/or TM1 experience is also a plus.
• Experience working with and creating data architectures is a plus .
