Position Overview:

As a Data Analyst at SmartBiz Loans, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our data and at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights. You will be on the forefront of multiple business strategies and tactics including standing up new partners and defining productivity enhancements. You will learn to understand the business and technical systems, as well as play a critical role in enabling our revenue driving and go to market teams. This role is an excellent opportunity for college graduates entering the workforce with a passion for data analysis and a desire to make a real impact in a rapidly evolving industry.

Success in this role will open doors to participation in high visibility projects within the business and will give you potential to achieve placement in other teams at the company.

Our strong preference is for candidates to be located in Austin TX. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days a week in office but could change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and update data into databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Review and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of data entry activities and changes.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support for various projects and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Familiarity with data visualization tools preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Mode).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
