Creeler (2nd shift -Full-Time – Shelby, NC)

Pay: $16.23/hr. | Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM | Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

About the Role:

Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is hiring a Creeler for a leading textile manufacturer in Shelby, NC . The Creeler plays a key role in keeping production lines running by safely loading yarn onto creels and ensuring continuous operation throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and replace yarn packages on creels.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
• Prepare yarn packages by pulling and combing tails, hanging tails in hooks, and cleaning with aspirator hoses.
• Splice yarn packages together for smooth transfer.
• Remove damaged yarn and replace foam pads as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; sweep and maintain creel rows.
• Inspect materials for quality issues and report or correct defects.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or textile experience helpful.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
