Position

Our senior copywriter position is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced family-oriented environment. An environment where excellence is defined, optimized, and achieved. An environment where one can pivot to different writing opportunities such as articles, emails, banners, and marketing materials. An opportunity where one can get their hands on every part of the process – researching, outlining, writing, creating images (with photographer and designers), editing, optimizing (with marketers), and placing the content on the website. 

To excel at this position, one must be a self-starter who loves challenges and enjoys honing their skills. The copywriter must have an affinity for words, a passion for research, a knack for organizing, and an eye for editing. The message they craft must be compelling to engage with, enjoyable to read, simple to understand, easy to follow, and contain a powerful call to action that readers find inevitable to do.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Writing copy for our website, blog, marketing materials, emails, and other marketing pieces

- Writing copy for third-party sites from small snippets to full length articles

- Managing our product gallery project including writing its gallery descriptions

- Managing PR including writing press releases, managing distribution lists and the editorial calendar, writing pieces for publications such as Forbes and Inc Magazine, reviewing and responding to customer reviews, and writing case studies

- Researching, interviewing, and gathering information to create compelling content pieces

- Working with our designers to create images, banners, and infographics

- Working with SEO manager to optimize the content for search engines

- Adding content to our sites including basic html coding

- Supporting the other departments when needed

Requirements

- 3+ years in communication/marketing role as a copywriter, marketer, or related field

- Prove ability to write high-quality content in a variety of formats

- Ability to conduct thorough, credible research and organize findings

- Ability to combine images and text to create powerful messages when working with a designer

- Professional writing voice that can adapt to a variety of styles

- Excellent editorial skills in areas of accuracy, voice, readability, and grammar

- Possess a positive, solution-focused, mindset

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot when necessary

- Self-learner and self-starter with a go-getter attitude

- Familiarity with HTML coding and Wordpress

Bonuses
