POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging, clear copy for high converting advertising platforms, landing pages, websites, blog posts, digital and print ads. Your duties will include creating interesting written content and collaborating with team members at all levels to ensure projects are consistent with direct marketing best practices, brand guidelines, compliance, and overall project goals. The ideal candidate is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth.

OBJECTIVES

• Create high converting promotional copy, emails, ads, landing pages, white papers and case studies
• Write compelling, direct response copy
• Work with the marketing team to fully understand pertinent data points
• Track analytics of marketing efforts as it pertains to copy-driven resources
• Split test advertising and other marketing campaigns for optimization
• Collaborate with the design team to create digital and print media advertising
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create lead content and other deliverables
• Think strategically to organize and design campaigns that deliver desired results for various target markets across different platforms
• Research target audience and marketplace to ensure copy is accurate and effective
• Write and edit white papers on client testimonials
• Edit the work of others effectively in order to achieve the best performing copy

COMPETENCIES

• Expert written, verbal and presentation skills
• Must be results focused, detail-oriented, and be able to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines
• Digital first approach. Knowledge of tracking digital marketing efforts in order to measure results
• Expert on posting, scheduling, and monitoring coordinated, effective, and engaging social media posts and managing corporate/fan social media accounts
• Experience with Apple/Mac products
• Effective copywriting skills for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, funnel campaigns, social media posts, articles, products and all assets and marketing campaigns we generate

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 to 5 years' experience creating compelling copy for digital marketing campaigns that convert

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
