Location: Duluth, Georgia

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the day-to-day operations of industrial and commercial construction projects, with a particular focus on industrial facilities such as warehouses, logistics centers, and distribution hubs. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the construction process for industrial (warehouses, distribution centers, logistics centers), retail, medical, and office projects.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within the specified time frame, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring that the work is progressing according to plan and resolving any issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Monitor and assess subcontractor performance to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to plans, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management or as a Superintendent, with a focus on industrial and commercial projects (warehouses, distribution centers, logistics, retail, medical, office).
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with construction project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different project sites.
