Opportunity to join Oahu's first Forbes 5-star luxury hotel! Trump International Hotel Waikiki has an immediate opening for the position of Concierge/Attache – Full Time.
Position Overview:
Provides excellent guest service and experiences to all hotel guests. Acts as a point of reference for guests who need assistance or information. Acquire extensive knowledge of the property and island venues/businesses to be able to create customized itineraries tailored to guest interests. Additional duties will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications and specific requirements:
Previous guest service experience required; 4-5 star hotel experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to function in a demanding and fast paces environment. Required to work flexible and varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Japanese/Korean/Mandarin language skills (including reading and typing) highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing during shift hours (up to 8 hours), walking frequently based on business needs of the day. Lifting, pushing/pulling, up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, kneeling, twisting, climbing, reaching. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, kneeling, twisting, climbing, reaching. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Reaching overhead – occasionally extending the arms/hands above the head in any direction, repetitive motions. Must have appropriate vision, hearing and oral communication skills needed to perform daily tasks. Must be able to access all public and private areas of the property, including stairwells, elevators, all maintenance and equipment areas/rooms, guest rooms, etc. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
