About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to serve as a strategic leader and steward of all human resources and people operations. The CPO will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative people and culture strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, strengthen workforce engagement, and support operational excellence. This role requires a focus on cultivating a high-performing, inclusive, and employee-centered workplace, and the CPO will lead all HR functions, including employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, total rewards, HR administration, training, and organizational development. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and will be a trusted advisor to the executive team on workforce trends and human capital strategies. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 10 years of HR experience, including 7 years at the C-Suite or senior executive level. A human resources certification is required, as is a background in labor relations and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in change management, experience in a public sector or highly regulated environment, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Key competencies include excellent communication skills, the ability to lead a large workforce, and a commitment to the values of the organization, including ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
