As our Butler, you will support the operations of our private clienteling space (“the Apartment”) and the initiatives of the Private Client Services team. You will offer a five-star hospitality experience to guests and maintain a welcoming and organized environment.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting the Host in greeting and assisting guests of the Apartment; collecting and storing outerwear, luggage, shopping bags and other personal effects.
  • Offering a warm and luxury-focused welcome, including food and beverage service and hospitality duties.
  • Anticipating, interpreting and responding to the expressed and unexpressed needs of visiting guests in an effortless and efficient manner.
  • Assisting with logistics related to hands-free shopping service, valet parking and other guest services.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service.
  • Engaging in, and supporting, hospitality initiatives within the Village to surprise &delight our guests.
  • Maintaining a close relationship with the Hospitality team and providing coverage, as needed.
  • Supporting on-floor operations, ensuring that the Apartment is maintained in excellent condition.
  • Tracking food & beverage inventory, working with the Hospitality Operations Manager to ensure that sufficient stock is on hand for appointments and events.
  • Organizing and maintaining all related serving ware and supplies (i.e. napkins, saucers, cups, glassware and cutlery), and placing orders for replacements or additional items as needed.
  • Delivering seasonal events as per plans agreed with Retail, Marketing and Tourism teams.
  • Providing support to the Hospitality Operations Manager, including but not limited to, on-site errands and liaising with vendors and internal business partners.

  • Experience as a butler or waitstaff in a luxury environment, including hotel, private club, retail and events sectors; understanding of etiquette and protocol is a plus.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international guests and 5-star guest services excellence.
  • Strong cultural awareness regarding managing the expectations of guests from diverse countries.
  • Demonstrated genuine desire and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experience and hospitality.
  • Excellent organizational skills: experience tracking inventory or budgets is a plus.
  • Well-groomed and -mannered, always maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to react quickly while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach.
  • A discerning eye for detail.
  • Fluency in English; any other language would be beneficial, especially Spanish, Mandarin or Arabic.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift pattern basis, including weekends and federal holidays.
