Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in blockchain development, including familiarity with distributed ledger technology (DLT) platforms such as Ethereum or Hyperledger.
  • Comprehensive understanding of system architecture, network protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and IT infrastructure components including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and virtualization environments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, and scripting languages like Shell Scripting.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Kubernetes) for deploying scalable applications.
  • Knowledge of APIs (RESTful API, SOAP), web services, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system management tools like Group Policy Object (GPO).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including threat intelligence, vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and information security protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues within distributed systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with technical teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and create blockchain-based solutions utilizing system design, solution architecture, and service-oriented architecture principles.
  • Implement smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) using programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, or Java.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, including RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with existing systems like Salesforce, Pegasystems, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure robust system hardening for security compliance.
  • Manage blockchain network infrastructure, including cloud security, firewall, VPN, and load balancing configurations on platforms like AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments utilizing virtualization tools such as VMware or ESXi.
  • Conduct continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools such as Jenkins to ensure efficient development cycles aligned with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Perform system administration tasks related to blockchain nodes, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), and operating systems (Linux, Windows) to optimize performance and security.
  • Engage in threat intelligence activities, vulnerability management, and system hardening to protect digital assets against cyber threats.
  • Support the development of microservices architectures using frameworks such as React Express and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable solutions leveraging technologies like NoSQL databases, C++, Ruby on Rails, and scripting languages (Bash, Shell Scripting).
