The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a seasonal Beer Vendor to join our team at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Beer Vendor, you will provide our guests the highest level of customer service while serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments on event and game days.

This position receives a commission on food and beverage sold:

16%- Food

Responsibilities 

• Circulates among guests within the assigned section; calls out and sells alcohol and/or food products, while adhering to alcohol service regulations (if applicable).
• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Hands or passed items sold to guests receive payment and adhere to credit card handling policies and procedures.
• Stocks items assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment alcohol service training.
• Must possess a high level of self-confidence, with the ability to aggressively sell assigned items.
• Must possess a cooperative work attitude.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and the ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors’ instructions.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be self-motivated.

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent walking throughout the venue for the entire length of shift.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for the entire length of shift.
• Ability to maintain one’s balance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the entire length of shift.
• Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell the product, for the entire length of shift.
• Stadium/arena environment- may be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hold and cold, depending on the season.
