Our Turbine Engine Mechanic Training Program is a 12 week comprehensive paid training program that provides format, structure and standards for employee training & development. We have a 'learn-by-doing' philosophy so you will be frequently moving between theory, lab and instructor led practical on-engine training.
Upon completion of the program, you will be assigned to one of our engine programs in San Antonio.
What you'll learn: - Repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines
- Inspection of engine modules and engine components
- Safety practices and aviation regulations
Requirements for the ideal candidate include: - High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 2 years job related training/experience is preferred.
- The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- 100% attendance for the duration of the program
- Excellent verbal and communication Skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high pace environment.
