Come grow with us! General Purpose and Scope of Position:This position is critical to the operations team, supporting order processing, inventory management, and overall warehouse performance. This position is tasked with providing outstanding customer service and is a critical liaison between sales, operations, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, this position provides clerical assistance in order processing and inventory management. Key Skills and Abilities Include:High School Diploma or equivalent required - Associate or Bachelors Degree preferredProficiency with technology and software, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred; training will be providedKnowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical application with accuracyAbility to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information for protracted periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50lbs regularly and 80lbs occasionallyWillingness to learn and ability to operate a forkliftMobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely Key Personal Attributes Include:Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills for interaction with customers and fellow employees across verbal, written, and all media (phone, e-mail, text) formatsThe ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resourcesMaintains a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervisionPractical organization skills with strong attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignmentsAbility to respond professionally to common inquiries or concerns from sales staff and other employees, customers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.Reads, writes, and speaks the English language fluently Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth business and warehouse operationsUtilize JD Edwards (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software), Microsoft Office, and other online platforms to perform daily duties (monitor and process sales orders, shipping documents, invoicing, and payment collection)Respond to inquiries and emails from customers, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a timely, accurate and appropriate mannerAssist with inventory management, including the purchasing and receiving of products, as well as daily/quarterly movement countsMeet or exceed timelines established under Timely Transaction Processing Policy (TTP)Work closely with the operations team to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer needsAssist the Sales Team in accurate customer pricing and quickly resolve any inquiries or concernsAssists other office team members in administrative tasks to ensure quality customer service, meeting deadlines, and sales supportSupports Sales and/or Operations Manager as requestedExemplify compliance with company policies and procedures within the office and support the warehouse in remaining compliant with local, state, and federal regulationsAll other duties as required Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $17.88 - $22.63 per hour.
