Job Title: Senior Aerospace Buyer

Location: Honeywell Deer Valley Plant, 85027 AZ

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm; Hybrid schedule 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Pay: $34/HR

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aerospace Buyer or Advanced Buyer with SAP experience to join our procurement team at the Honeywell Deer Valley Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors according to company policies and procedures.

• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers in terms of quality, cost, and delivery schedule.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organization.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, to understand procurement requirements and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.

• Utilize SAP and other procurement software tools effectively to manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements that may impact procurement strategies and supplier relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

• 4-6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is required.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and value-added opportunities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and quality standards is preferred.

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.

Pay Details: $34.06 per hour
