Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist - Join a Growing Finance Team in Broussard, LA

Hours & Pay

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and on time.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage collections with professionalism and persistence.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with the month-end close.
• Support process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize billing portals and EDI systems (experience strongly preferred).

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
