We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Milan, Ohio. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations while working in a collaborative environment. The role is entirely onsite and requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) activities, including tracking and reconciling payments.
• Perform check runs and ensure proper documentation for financial records.
• Handle invoicing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize accounting software to maintain and update financial information.
• Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Respond to inbound phone calls and address customer inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Familiarity with basic Excel operations, including data entry and formulas.
• Ability to work onsite in Milan, Ohio, without restrictions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software.
• Ability to handle high-volume invoicing with accuracy.
• Non-smoking and free of grain allergies, as required by the work environment.
