Job Title: 3D Motion Graphic Designer
Pay Details: The annual base salary range for this position in California is $84,000 to $105,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
Join our dynamic Entertainment team at the Anaheim Ducks as the 3D Motion Graphics Designer, where your creativity will shape the visual identity of groundbreaking projects and campaigns. As a key contributor to our award-winning team, you'll play an instrumental role in driving the success of our brand new On Ice Projection and motion graphics initiatives.
You'll have access to cutting-edge hardware, software, and a talented team that you'll both collaborate with and lead. As the 3D Motion Graphics Designer, you'll have the opportunity to foster your creative talent and mentor other professionals in the field. O.C. Sports Entertainment group seeks an individual who excels in both conceptualization and execution-a visionary with a passion for delivering exceptional video and motion projects.
Responsibilities - Create captivating and industry-leading Motion Graphics for the Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center, and it's parent companies and brands
- Be a key creative force behind our new On Ice Projection content including Show Opens, Game Elements, and Marketing pieces
- Conceptualize, design and transform briefs and concepts into highly effective motion graphic animations
- Collaborating with the creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and content creators is vital to this role
- Be an active participant in creative planning and brainstorming sessions, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared success
- Resourceful team player with ability to take ownership, work with minimum supervision at times and follow through on task completion
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends with design
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in motion design, video production, animation, or related major
- 5+ years of progressive experience with motion graphics in a professional work environment; experience in sports and entertainment is a plus
- Experience in 3D design/modeling and animation from concept through production This position will support a new on-ice projection system
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience with one 3D motion Design tool such as Cinema 4D or similar
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment
- Applicants must submit a demo reel demonstrating experience
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused
- A passion for live events and sports entertainment
- Able to work beyond normal business hours, including but not limited to nights, weekends and select holidays is required
