**Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder and Fabricator**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled welder and fabricator for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read ship drawings, specifically from HII. The shift runs from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with potential overtime extending to 3:00 AM.

**Responsibilities**

+ Read and interpret ship drawings from HII.

+ Perform welding and fabricating tasks with precision and accuracy.

+ Ensure consistent attendance, maintain a positive attitude, and put forth maximum effort in all tasks.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and ship drawings, specifically from HII.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience working in a clean shop environment.

**Work Environment**

You will be working in a shop environment located in Hampton. The shift is from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with potential overtime extending to 3:00 AM. The work setting includes two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
